The Real Story on Syria’s “Rebels”

Jess & Jamal discuss Israel’s secretly arming and funding at least 12 “rebel” groups in southern Syria. The Israeli military transfers, which ended in July of this year, included assault rifles, machine guns, mortar launchers and transport vehicles. Israeli security agencies delivered the weapons through three gates connecting the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights to Syria.

Islamophobia at San Jose Police Department

Jess and Jamal interview Lebanese-American, Muslim-American Police Officer, Nabil Haidar, who filed a claim against the City of San Jose and the San Jose Police Department alleging continuous harassment and discrimination based upon his race, national origin and religion. According to Officer Haidar, who is a US citizen, other SJPD officers regularly referred to him as “Taliban”, “ISIS” and “Lebanese Bomber” among other egregious comments.
